Wish Craft ("we", "us") operates wishcraft.exchange — a celebration and gifting platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
Information We Collect
- Account information: name, email address, phone number (optional — only if you use SMS sign-in)
- Profile data: avatar, bio, wishlist items, event details, connection lists
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, session duration
How We Use Your Information
- To operate and improve the Wish Craft platform
- To send you sign-in verification codes via SMS (only when you request them)
- To send account notifications via SMS (only if you opt in via Account Settings)
- To send event invitations, reminders, and wishlist updates by email or SMS
SMS Communications
Wish Craft sends two categories of text messages:
Sign-in Verification (OTP / Transactional)
When you enter your phone number on the sign-in page and tap "Text me a code," you consent to receive a one-time passcode for account verification. One message per sign-in request. No unsolicited messages are sent from this program.
Sample message: "Your WishCraft code is XXXXXX. It expires in 10 minutes. Reply STOP to opt out."
Account Notifications (Optional)
If you enable SMS notifications in Account Settings → Notifications, Wish Craft will send you alerts for: event reminders, birthday reminders, group gifting updates, and wishlist activity. SMS notifications are off by default. You must explicitly toggle them on and tap Save — two affirmative steps required.
- Opt-in: Toggle "Text me reminders" in Settings → Notifications and save your mobile number
- Opt-out: Reply STOP to any message, or disable SMS in Settings → Notifications
- Help: Reply HELP or email support@wishcraft.exchange
- Message frequency: Varies; typically fewer than 5 per month
- Rates: Msg & data rates may apply
- No third-party sharing: SMS opt-in data and consent will not be shared with or sold to any third parties
- Service provider: Twilio delivers SMS messages on our behalf under strict data-handling agreements

Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with trusted service providers (Twilio for SMS, SendGrid for email, Stripe for payments, Neon for database hosting) each bound by strict data-handling agreements.
